I am rebuilding the XR650R. Everything is apart, and I got a new connecting rod from XRs only (Falicon). I am keeping my piggeh mellow – I am not going to sacrifice low-end grunt for high-end power by swapping in a more aggressive cam. I already have a highly strung Husqvarna to do the high-end power stuff.

Last fall, I took a bike building course under Tom Teasdale (TET cycles). The bike shown above is what I built.
The geometry is a cross between a Black Sheep bicycles frame and a Moots frame. The ISCG tab is in place because I want to install my Truvativ Hammerschmidt crank in there. The only thing left is to weld the ISCG tab and zip tie cable holders in place.
