Fjällräven Backpack

August is coming, and I need new school gear. My current backpack, a Dell laptop bag, is highly impractical because of lack of storage space and I need to replace it.

Being the newbie photographer that I am, I try to get as much practice with photography as I can and this means carrying my bulky SLR around. I also cannot imagine not having my 500 GB pseudo portable HDD (a desktop HDD in an enclosure is not exactly portable) around and I’d like my pack to double as a travel/hiking backpack…

Fjällräven (Swedish for ‘Arctic Fox’) has been around since the 1960s and they definitely know how to make outdoor gear. I totally expect these packs to be tough as nails and last a while…

Both the backpacks have decent storage space the Vintage comes in three sizes – 13 liter, 20 liter and 30 liter. One of these two will end up being my next long term backpack.
