Husqvarna TX300

IMG_20170408_162652687_HDR.jpg

This is my third Husqvarna motorcycle. I have owned Husqvarna motorcycles from both the Castiglioni era and the BMW era. This KTM era Husqvarna is the best motorcycle I have ever ridden. The 2008 YZ125 with the KYB SSS suspension is going to end up second on the list now. The stock jetting on the TX300 is horrible, but this motorcycle handles so good it compensates for the shitty factory jetting.

Time to work on the carburetor and get this motorcycle running right.

P.S. : The YZ450FX is gone and I am glad to be back on a two stroke.

New bikes and updates

A Yamaha YZ450FX and a Montesa Cota 4RT replaced the Husqvarnas.

I started racing district 37! Sadly, the racing season has been cut short because of a hairline fracture on my right heel bone. Transferring trials skills (if any) to a dirt bike is no easy task, and I found out the hard way.

Star Vmax 2014…

When I saw the launch videos of this motorcycle back in 2008, I fell in love with it. I thought I’d never end up owning it, because it was/is pretty expensive. But here I am, 6 years later, with a brand new 2014 Vmax.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to own a Singer 911 😛

Piggeh progress

Engine is almost done… and I have a rolling chassis 🙂

I had the crankshaft rebuilt with a Falicon knife-edge connecting rod. The head got stainless steel Kibblewhite valves, Kibblewhite springs and titanium retainers driven by a stage 1 Hotcam. The clutch basket you see is a Hinson housing a Barnett clutch plates and springs setup. The Piggeh is going to be a supermoto, wearing Excels and running Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs.
